North Babylon Responds to Car Fire

On Tuesday, June 4,2013 at 7:38pm the North Babylon Vol. Fire Company was alerted by Babylon Central Fire Alarm of a reported vehicle fire on the westbound Southern State west of Deer Park Avenue. First arriving Engine 1-8-8 began the initial attack with the crews from Engines 1-8-1 and 1-8-2 right behind to assist in the exitinguishment of the vehicle. All units were under command of Chief Tom Jordan. No injuries were reported and all units were back in service in 30 minutes.
