On Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 2:45pm the North Babylon Vol. Fire Company was alerted by Babylon Central Fire Alarm of a reported vehicle fire at Deer Park Avenue and Kime Avenue. First arriving engine 1-8-8 began the initial attack with the crews from engines 1-8-1 and 1-8-2 right behind to assist in the extinguishment of the vehicle. All units were under command of Chief Rob Cabano. No injuries were reported and all units were back in service in 30 minutes.
