Rhoda Avenue MVA Car vs House

North Babylon firefighters responded Sunday April 22, 2012 to an mva that injured the driver of a Dodge Neon in a single car accident late Sunday afternoon on Rhoda Avenue. The driver lost control and went off the road across the lawn of one house and crashed into the side of another. The vehicle hit an empty oil tank which stopped it from going all the way into the house but caused a wall to crack from the collision. The North Babylon Fire Company responded with Chiefs 1-8-30, 31, 32 Engine's 1-8-2, 1-8-8, Ladder 1-8-6 Rescue 1-8-15 and Ambulance 1-8-17. The house was checked for structural damage and the injured driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Chief of Department Folise was in charge of the operation.
