| On Thursday May 26, 2011 @ appromimately 20:16 hrs the North Babylon Fire Company was alerted to a report of a fuel spill at the corner of Sylvan Road and Miller Avenue. Upon the Arrival of Chief George Folise he came upon a boat that had fallen of an unkonwn vehicle and had been left leaking whatever fuel contents it still contained. The Chief directed the crew from 1-8-3 to contain the spill. After the arrival of 1-8-15 the hole that was leasking the contents was plugged. All units were up within 45 minutes with no injuries reported. SCPD is still investigating who the boat belonged to.. |
