| The North Babylon Fire Company was alerted to a single car Motor Vehicle Accident on the Southern State Parkway Westbound, East of Rt. 231 on Friday April 29, 2011 at about 9:50 am.Babylon Central Fire Dispatch gave Chief Folise further information that it was a rollover. Upon the arrival of Asst. Chief Cabano, he relayed information to incoming units that one(1) female was trapped. The crews from Heavy Rescue 1-8-15, Engines 1-8-4 and 1-8-8 were able to force a door open and assist the EMS crew with removing the patient. Once removed from the vehicle the female driver was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by the EMS crew from 1-8-7. |
