Wendy's Drive Thru

The North Babylon Fire Co. was alerted for a Signal 23 @ the Wendy's @ 1236 Deer park Ave. on Tuesday 2/1/2011 @ 16:24hrs. SCPD unit 108 on scene requesting for a Private Ambulance that hit an awning over the drive through window. 1-8-30 when advised of the info via Babylon Central Fire Alarm, requested a TOB Fire Marshal and the TOB Building Inspector to the scene. A Signal 4 was transmitted @ 16:29. 1-8-30 special called for Ladder 1-8-6 @ 16:40hrs. 1-8-6 was put into operation to secure the awning with a rope, while members removed the ambulance from underneath the awning. 1-8-6 then lowered the awning to the ground. No injuries were reported at the scene.
