Notice to Bidders

Separate sealed bids for proposed exterior and interior renovations, alterations and finishing work including any and all related work specified to be included as part of said bid in accordance with Bid Specification No. 2312 and accompanying drawings shall be received by the North Babylon Fire Department, 20 Hale Road, North Babylon, NY 11703 until Thursday March 14th 2024 at 2:00pm.

Contractors are herewith advised that plans and specifications will be available by email in PDF format commencing on or about Thursday, February 8th, 2024 from the office of Sendlewski Architects PC located at 215 Roanoke Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901. There will be a pre-bid conference held at the project site on Wednesday, February 15th, 2024 at 12:00pm.

Bids must be in a sealed envelope and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the Bidder and shall be submitted as follows: By regular or express mail to: North Babylon Fire Department, 20 Hale Road, North Babylon, NY 11703 and be received by 4:00pm on March 14th, or personally delivered by 2:00pm on March 14th at North Babylon Fire Department, 20 Hale Road, North Babylon, NY 11703. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the North Babylon Fire Department, in accordance with the specifications and instructions to Bidders. The responsibility for having the bid received remains the sole responsibility of the bidder without exception.

All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other applicable statutes and have a statement of non-collusion. All documents submitted in connection with this bid will become the property of the Fire Department and the Fire Department will not return bid documents."
