Mutial Aid to Deer Park Fire Department

On Monday, May 21, 2012 @ 0358 hrs, the North Babylon Vol. Fire Co. was alerted for a mutial aid to the Deer Park Fire Department for a structure fire at 1823 Deer Park Avenue for heavy fire in a one story taxpayer with fire extending to neighboring stores. Tower Ladder 1-8-6 arrived on scene and was put to work as a second due truck. The crew began assisting Deer Park by searching, venting, overhauling, and protecting surounding structers. Ladder 6 chuaffer put the bucket in operation, positioning it on the 1 and 4 corner of the building. Engine 1-8-8 was put on standby at DPFD HQ. All North Babylon units returned from duty at approximately 0600.
